And what did you miss?

I was invited to/crashed/put on the list somehow/ just walked into the inaugural WiPT New York Launch Event at Knotel March 27, 2019.

I kid a bit. I was invited and attended to find out what the WiPT was all about. I had several conversations about all topics property and technology.

I did have a drill down conversation with Nikki Greenberg who is heading up this initiative. And from what I can gather she and the others organizing these events are still formulating what the WiPT will be. And that is brilliant. Start with bringing people together who are interested in the same general sector of business and then let those same people help through conversations and connections further define the direction and or initiatives moving forward.

Obviously, the WiPT has a stated mission which is a group for professional women interested in innovation & the future of real estate. It is dedicated to promoting female thought leadership, tackling diversity issues, & connecting the brilliant women working in PropTech globally.

I mentioned that I would help in any way I could.
