It was TIME.
Time to change my website. It started to look dated and “busy”. I could go into all kinds of metaphors about how the site and it’s components had started to resemble the owner but “HEY”! So I called up my man Dave Lewand at creGROW and said “HEY”! I am thinking about a new site.
The first words out of his mouth other than “send a check” were “Responsive Web Design”.
What is Responsive Web Design (RWD)?
Mashable declared 2013 the “Year of Responsive Web Design.” Wikipedia defines Responsive Web Design (RWD) as “a web design approach aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones).

- Keeping It Simple
“Duke approached us with an interest in making his Commercial Real Estate blog better by making it SIMPLER. Together we examined both necessary and superfluous site features, and trimmed the fat where necessary. His audience – largely commercial real estate brokers, owners and developers – is often ‘on-the-go’ and must consume CRE-related content QUICKLY. They call it simple – we call it RWD.”
creGROW is currently utilizing an all new RWD WordPress template specific to commercial real estate, working with CRE companies anxious to launch prior to ICSC RECon 2013 in Las Vegas.
