  • Hey Duke, for electronic forms and signatures, you should look into LincDoc. They have an iPad / tablet app.

This is true e-forms at it’s best. The company is a major partner of Laserfiche and has perfected the concept of never needing forms to be paper. From Word and PDFs (i.e. every real estate form imaginable) they can create forms that are all dynamic and feed the data straight into any type of database, from accounting to marketing and CRMs.

Scanning and e-mailing is so antiquated.

Powerful stuff. The first real estate company that buys their product will win. And I mean win.

    • Craig,
I will take a look and thanks for sharing.

  • Do I win anything for having most of these installed?

Would also recommend Instapaper and Flipboard for reading news/blogs.

    • Chris,
Thanks for the share and name your prize!

      • Chris Clark

I suppose I could ask for $$, but I’ll stick with “reading your blog is enough of a prize for me!”

  • Handy tool to calculate the Return on your Investment:

    • Michel,
      Thanks for the share.

  • I see Visual Lease just launched an iPad, iPhone and Android App! Now this is what I’m talking about, syncing everything across multiple devices!

Would also recommend iAnnotate for the iPad for marking up docs and signing.

  • F Berfle

I use an app called Real Estate Back Of the Envelope (BOE) a lot. They have it for iPhone and Blackberry. Easy to use if you know real estate terms, but surprisingly sophisticated pro forma modeling tool, does sensitivity and works with every property type. I do calcs on the street and email them to myself. Very cool.

  • This is also a good one, pretty simple and only does a few calcs at this point, but might be worth putting in your arsenal, especially since it’s free.

One more app to add to this roster – Commercial Rent Calculator

My company, Mercantile Capital Corporation, just came out with a NEW complimentary app for iPhone and iPad called the SmartChoice® Loan Calculator. This app can easily estimate costs and payments for most commercial real estate transactions and automatically updates with current interest rates so that the results are accurate. It is a VERY useful tool for small business owners and their advisors and is now available at the iTunes App Store. Watch the video to learn more about what this app does and why you should use it:

Be sure to download the app below and let me know what you think!
