Relaunched!… with RWD by creGROW

Responsive Web Design by creGROW

It was TIME.

Time to change my website. It started to look dated and “busy”. I could go into all kinds of metaphors about how the site and it’s components had started to resemble the owner but “HEY”! So I called up my man Dave Lewand at creGROW and said “HEY”! I am thinking about a new site.

The first words out of his mouth other than “send a check” were “Responsive Web Design”.

What is Responsive Web Design (RWD)?

Mashable declared 2013 the “Year of Responsive Web Design.” Wikipedia defines Responsive Web Design (RWD) as “a web design approach aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones).

Dave Lewand and his website development team at creGROW specialize in these 3 things:

  1. WordPress Websites for Commercial Real Estate
  2. Responsive Web Design
  3. Keeping It Simple

“Duke approached us with an interest in making his Commercial Real Estate blog better by making it SIMPLER. Together we examined both necessary and superfluous site features, and trimmed the fat where necessary. His audience – largely commercial real estate brokers, owners and developers – is often ‘on-the-go’ and must consume CRE-related content QUICKLY. They call it simple – we call it RWD.”

creGROW is currently utilizing an all new RWD WordPress template specific to commercial real estate, working with CRE companies anxious to launch prior to ICSC RECon 2013 in Las Vegas.

Sorry can’t kiss your butt with this one. I liked the old busy – looked human.
    just me maybe!
i like sites with contrasting backgrounds/text on headers so you can work out what’s what, line breaks.. that sort of thing.
clean though, and text is legible which is a bit thing for a blog.

  • Looks great Duke. Nice work Dave!

  • Chris

Like it – very visual (is this what Pinterest for CRE would look like?) and easy to get around. And always have been a fan of Dave’s work. Nice job.

    • Thanks, Chris! We’ll take the Pinterest comparison as a compliment, as they are leaders at least in terms of content curation/display in a responsive interface. BTW.. you can find Duke’s more popular blog posts on Pinterest as well at http://pinterest.com/davelewand/cre-duke-long/
